News18 Local on how three Bhopal founders set out to put AI in charge of traffic signals.
News18 Local profiled Krypton AI in August 2023, describing how Arpit Shrivastava, with Abhay Athya and Bhumika Wallabhadas, founded the company to monitor and run traffic signals with AI.
The idea, Arpit told the paper, started while he was preparing for college exams and kept losing time at signals that ignored the traffic in front of them. It led to a simple question: why should a signal hold a road on red when the road it is serving is empty?
